- Background and Rationale
As part of the process of Certification of Entrepreneurship Support Organizations (OAE) in Benin (LABELOAE), a key initiative for the national entrepreneurial ecosystem, several organizations were recognized for the quality of their support services for entrepreneurs.
Led by the Sèmè City Development Agency and the Small and Medium-Sized Enterprise Development Agency (ADPME), with support from the Ministry of Small and Medium-Sized Enterprises and Employment Promotion, the Ministry of Economy and Finance, and the Benin Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCI Benin), and with technical and financial support from the World Bank, this initiative aims to improve the quality of entrepreneurial support and to recognize the highest-performing organizations.
The OAE LABEL aims to recognize and strengthen Entrepreneurship Support Organizations (OAE) that play a key role in the development of Micro, Small and Medium-Sized Enterprises (SMEs) by helping to sustainably raise the standards of support services in Benin.
In order to strengthen its project management skills and improve the quality of its program implementation, Women EdTech would like to support a key member of its team in their journey toward PMP (Project Management Professional) international certification.
To do this, she recruits a specialized firm responsible for assisting the beneficiary with preparation, training, and PMP certification.
- Mission Objectives
The goal of the assignment is to support a member of the Women EdTech team in acquiring the necessary skills and preparing for the PMP certification, with a view to strengthening the organization's capacity to effectively plan, execute, and manage its strategic projects.
The selected firm will be responsible for:
- Assess the candidate's initial level in relation to the PMP certification requirements
- Develop a personalized training plan to prepare for the PMP exam
- Deliver or organize training sessions on Project Management Institute (PMI) standards
- Strengthen proficiency in project management tools and methods (scheduling, budgeting, risk management, monitoring and evaluation)
- Prepare the candidate for the various stages of the PMP exam (theory and practice)
- Simulate practice tests and ongoing assessments
- Assist the candidate in preparing the PMP eligibility application, if necessary
- Provide personalized support until certification is obtained
- Ensure a thorough understanding of international best practices in project management
- Expected Results
Upon completion of the mission, the following results are expected:
- A personalized training plan for PMP preparation
- A significant enhancement of project management skills in accordance with PMI standards
- Comprehensive Preparation for the PMP Exam
- The candidate's actual participation in the PMP exam
- Obtaining Certification PMP (Project Management Professional) (expected final goal)
- An improvement in Women EdTech's internal capabilities in managing complex projects
- Tools and best practices transferred to the organization for project management
- Expected Deliverables
The firm must provide:
- A Detailed Training Plan
- A Structured PMP Prep Program
- Appropriate educational materials
- Reports Tracking the Candidate's Progress
- Exam simulations (practice tests)
- A Final Mission Report
- Firm Profile
The firm will be required to:
- To Be accredited or recognized in PMP/PMI training
- Have certified trainers on staff PMP or equivalent (PMI Authorized Training Partner is a plus)
- Have proven experience in preparing candidates for PMP certification
- Demonstrate expertise in international project management
- Have the ability to provide individualized support
- Relevant experience in Africa or within development organizations is a plus
- Duration of the Mission
The assignment is scheduled to last two (2) months, depending on the training format offered.

- A copy of the Commercial and Personal Property Credit Registry (RCCM); ;
- A copy of the current tax certificate; ;
- A copy of the firm's Unique Tax Identification Number (IFU); ;
- A highly detailed technical proposal (understanding, methodology, scheduling, team); ;
- A Financial Offer ;
- The instructors' résumés.

Women EdTech reserves the right to:
