Free Training for 100 Female Students in App Development and Cybersecurity
Women EdTech, in partnership with GIZ; AfricaCodeWeek; E-Skills4Girls; and the Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development, provided free training to 100 female students from Benin in app development and cybersecurity.
This digital support program for girls took place from May 5 to 25, 2021, at the Sainte Mireille School Complex in Atrokpocodji, the Cs le Challenge School Complex, the Vallet Foundation, and the Women EdTech offices in Cotonou. Through hands-on experience with technology, the girls used the App Inventor software to create mobile apps. Thanks to this training, they learned how to be smart, vigilant, and kind online.
